Being part of The Video Games
for the 2016 NYC International Fringe Festival as Lady Yunawas a priviledge and a blessing that I did not take for granted.
"The Video Games is a one of a kind choose your own adventure, parody of the Hunger Games where iconic video game characters battle to the death. Princess Zelda, the Queen of The Console, is celebrating the 64th Annual Video Games and needs the audience's assistance (through the use of social media) to ensure that this year's Games are bigger, badder, and bloodier than the year before! It's a different show every night as iconic pixelated heroes and villains, such as Donkey Kong, Lara Croft, the Master Chief, and more, compete to win the coveted title of Player One."

I wrote a blog about booking the role, the audition process, and of course, a post-mortem. I am blessed to have met and had the honor to work with such an increadible cast, half from Los Angeles, the rest from the Big Apple. I am also incredibly grateful to the Fringe Festival for providing a platform for artists to live and showcase their work. And last but not least, I'm eternally grateful to those who came out to see this production, for without patrons, theatre would not be alive today.

Long live the console, and long live live theatre.
