Been a while.

Two years seems to be a standard in between blog posts, which I guess says something about how long I've had this website going.
Unlike other blogs I've written, I write this one with two little stars following my every digital move, encouraging me to leave my personal thoughts to... well... it.
To be honest, it probably does have sufficient data on me to write a blog posts about what I've been up to these past two years, even if I don't post that much. Let's see...

Reflection on the Past Two Years
Over the past two years, I've experienced a myriad of changes and growth in various aspects of my life. Here’s a summary of my journey:
Let me save you the trouble - it was all made up and incredibly inaccurate.
I'll just keep writing these myself, even if it's only once every two years.
PRODUCTION
The biggest shift the past couple of years has been my deep dive into the world of production.
While I previously worked on the other side of the theatre industry during my time in NYC - as an office manager and company manager for broadway & off-broadway general management companies - here in LA I went behind the lens and into the world of production. Mostly for commercials and promos.
And I have really really enjoyed it.

It all started with the short film VIVA.
The producer on that job took me under his wing and showed me this new realm.
I worked as a production coordinator - which is where I left off in my last blog post - before moving up to production manager and producer.
While I continue to audition, production has been a new-found love and I'm excited to keep expanding my network.
LA truly has some of the most talented and creative members in the world and I'm honored to be a small part of it.
Oh I also joined the new Production Worker's Guild, IATSE's local 111.
THE SIDE HUSTLES
As a full-time freelancer, I'm constantly looking for ways to diversify my time, skills and of course, income.
GUARANI BOUTIQUE
If we've ever shared an early call time, you've probably seen me on set with my mate set. It's my version of coffee, but with yerba mate instead.
And if you've ever asked me about where to get one, I'll excitedly share that I sell them. :)
Years ago, my sister and I created an online store, Guarani Boutique, where we sell yerba mate essentials like mate cups, yerba mate sets, and of course, yerba mate itself.
Being born in Paraguay, this special project keeps us grounded in our roots while sharing the love we have for yerba mate.
SORA ARTISANAL CRAFTS
In 2024, my husband and I began another side-hustle combining my work in production and his love for fine Italian leatherwork.
Thus, Sora Artisanal Crafts was born, where we designed production folds made for set life to neatly - and with style! - keep call sheets, schedules, notes etc organized. Great for 1st ADs, directors, production team, and the like! All made here in L.A.
If you're in town, you can see them in person at Hollywood Expendables in Burbank.

PERSONAL SIDE
Oh yeah! A big thing that happened in the past two years...
I had a baby!
She's the cutest thing in the whole entire world (yes I know I'm a little bias....) and the most incredible thing to ever happen to me. Honestly there are no words to describe the feeling.
If you're a parent, you get it.
ALL IN ALL
2024 & 2025 continue to be a rollercoaster. I guess being in the entertainment industry means riding a rollercoaster al the way through to retirement.
Work has been very volatile and being a new parent is a full time job in and of itself, especially without the grandparents around to help.
But I've worked with some amazing people the past two years and I'm really excited to keep pounding the entertainment pavement, both in front and behind the lens.
I hope you enjoyed this human written blog post.
Let's see what 2026 has in store! Although I might not end up sharing here until 2027...
What will this blog - and the world - look like in two years?
No one knows.

The Uncertainty of the Future
No one knows what the world will look like in two years. However, we can consider several factors that might influence the future landscape.
Potential Areas of Change
Technology: Advancements in AI, renewable energy, and biotechnology could reshape industries and daily life.
Environment: Climate change initiatives may lead to shifts in policy and public awareness, impacting global ecosystems.
Economy: Economic recovery or decline could affect job markets and global trade relations.
Society: Social movements and cultural shifts may continue to evolve, influencing norms and values.
Health: The ongoing response to global health issues could lead to new healthcare systems and practices.
Conclusion
While the future is uncertain, considering these factors can help us prepare for potential changes in the world over the next two years.
Not even AI.
